Stone has minute airspaces called pores.The
size and number of pores vary according to
the kind of stone, but water permeates through
pores causing rust, smear, mold, and algae.
Not only damaging the appearance, but also
leading deterioration of the stone itself
from frost or salt damage.
Chemicals for protection against water permeation
reduce the infiltration (percentage of water absorption) of water.
Permeating type forms protection layers inside
a stone material, so the quality of finishing
surface is not altered.In addition, it is
almost completely unaffected by ultra violet
rays, so it lasts for a very long time.
